New Iconic Handbags You Don’t Want to Miss…

In the handbag world, there are some classics that never go out of fashion – the Hermes Birkin, the Chanel 2.55, the Louis Vuitton Speedy for example.

But each season there’s a new collection of beautiful designer handbags just waiting to be discovered and turned into the classics of the future.

Here’s a quick round up of some of our favouites from the past couple of years….

The Chanel Gabrielle

The Gabrielle is the new line from Chanel that launched last year, alongside a fragrance and a range of beautiful accessories. This Hobo bag is without doubt the signature piece – it’s chain strap and quilted fabric give it the classic Chanel look but the relaxed feel takes on a new shape with the longer shoulder strap. We love it and think we’ll see plenty of these beauties in the Spa over the next few years.

Saint Lauren Sac du Jour

Since it’s launch in 2014, this bag has built quite the following amongst fashion influencers and celebrities alike. The classic design is similar to the Hermes Birkin in terms of size and structure. The Sac du Jour (literally translated as ‘bag of the day’) has become one of Saint Lauren’s permanent collections after being coveted since it’s launch four years ago. We’ve seen a couple of these in the Spa and always love to see how beautifully they wear, even when used every day for all the essentials.

Dior J’adior

A beautiful gold chain and the J’adior motif adorns the front of this Dior beauty which comes in three design finishes. One of the first from new Creative Direcor Grazia Chiuri, it’s far from low key but it certainly makes a statement. Perfect for anybody who likes to wear their bling on display.
